Job summary

Frontier Airlines, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Supervisor of Flight Dispatch and Central Load Planning to join our Denver-based operations.

You will supervise dispatch staff, coordinate flight schedules, and ensure safe, compliant operations across shifts in a high-demand environment. You will ground flights as needed for safety, liaise with ATC, and drive efficiency initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance and strong team leadership.

Qualifications

• FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certificate required.
• Minimum two (2) years of aircraft dispatch experience; five (5) years of dispatch experience are preferred.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; Bachelor’s degree in an aviation or management field preferred.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Flight Dispatch and Central Load Planning on a shift basis to ensure safe, compliant, efficient operations.
• Maintain authority to ground any flight deemed necessary in the interest of safety or operational need.
• Oversee dispatchers in daily operations and act as focal point of Dispatch Resource Management within SOC.
• Coordinate with the SOC Shift Manager while on duty and assist with the operation and execution of the daily flight schedule.
• Act as liaison to Air Traffic Control for slot swapping and optimization.
• Coordinate with ATC System Command Center Tactical Customer Advocate to mitigate delays and other flow control issues.
• Monitor weather and ATC concerns and develop recommendations to minimize impact on flight operations.
• Monitor dispatch workload and re-distribute workload during irregular operations.
• Manage audits and quality control to ensure standardization and compliance of Dispatch and Load Planning products.
• Supervise Aircraft Dispatchers to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and FAA regulations.
• Coach, counsel, and discipline up to including separation of employment as applicable.
• Coordinate fuel savings initiatives and other company programs.
• Oversee Load Planners in daily operations including workload balancing and weight/balance monitoring.
• Provide classroom and on-the-job training, including competency checks for Dispatchers and Load Planners.
• Maintain authority to exercise management-level financial decisions and commit funds as needed.
• Evaluate and revise department policies to improve performance and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in Dispatch SMS Data Analysis Group as assigned.
