Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a dispatch coordinator to ensure private and contract drivers are dispatched timely. You will work with sales, drivers, and customers, updating OTM and planning routes while prioritizing safety and accuracy. This role requires strong communication and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Transportation experience or knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dispatch environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to solve driver or carrier issues during freight transit.
• Communicate customer requirements to carriers and drivers.
• Maintain updates in Oldcastle Transportation Management (OTM).
• Plan delivery routes and assign drivers for scheduled shipments.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and relay information to drivers.
