Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher/Call Taker to manage high-volume inbound calls and national dispatch support. You will monitor the dispatch system, coordinate with field technicians, and provide timely updates to customers while maintaining service levels.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 2–4 years of related experience, strong PC literacy, data entry, and excellent communication. A hybrid work schedule with overnight and weekend coverage is offered and base salary range is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2–4 years related experience.
• Strong PC literacy and data entry skills.
• Ability to monitor and manage group email boxes.
• Excellent customer support and communication skills.
• Strong phone skills and ability to build rapport.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in a team and cover overnight/weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and dispatch support to meet SLA targets.
• Monitor dispatch system and coordinate with field personnel.
• Provide status updates to customers and technicians.
• Complete time cards and adhere to department rules.
• Assist field managers with administrative functions.
• Triage and respond to emails as needed.
• Maintain dispatch metrics and update meters.
• Back up for special projects from management/admin team.
• Coordinate after-hours resources to meet customer SLA.
