Arakelian Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate drivers, trucks, and routes, ensuring efficient utilization of assets and timely service. You will lead dispatch operations, assign loads, and maintain accurate route documentation while supporting customer inquiries with professionalism.

You will mentor drivers, handle escalation of issues, and participate in backfill supervision. This role offers growth toward leadership within the Operations Department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years experience in a dispatching role in logistics or transportation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Excellent customer conflict resolution abilities.
• Able to perform physical requirements of the position.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily dispatch and routing operations to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Assign loads and routes based on driver location and priorities with accurate schedules.
• Maintain route schedules, documentation, and dispatch data for compliance.
• Monitor driver check-ins and record completions, misses, and activities.
• Prepare compliance reports and serve as primary contact for customer inquiries.
• Provide leadership by mentoring drivers and backfill supervision as needed.
• Identify performance concerns and communicate findings to management.
