Job summary

Odyssey Logistics is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to coordinate the scheduling and movement of shipments and directly supervise assigned Class A drivers. This on-site role partners with customers, carriers, operations, and HR to meet service goals.

You will oversee daily dispatch operations, track performance, and support driver hiring, training, and compliance while maintaining a safe, efficient transportation network.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional work experience required.
• Experience in transportation, dispatch, logistics, or trucking operations preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with customers and drivers.
• Dispatch loads and monitor shipments from pickup through delivery.
• Plan routes, equipment, and transportation modes to meet service goals.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to customers.
• Supervise Class A drivers and assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews.
