Job summary

Service Professor is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate technicians, customers, and field leadership to keep service operations running smoothly. You will assign calls, monitor schedules, and adjust in real time to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for on-the-job training and career growth at our Grand Rapids location.

Qualifications

• 2 years of scheduling experience, home services experience preferred.
• Ability to type at least 35 wpm.
• Demonstrated capacity to work independently in a high-paced environment.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer and telecommunication skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch the right technician to the right job to maximize every opportunity.
• Resolve client concerns in a timely manner with 5-star quality customer service.
• Communicate between the technicians, clients, and department managers to ensure everyone is communicated with efficiently.
• Record the results of each service call and create report summaries for management.
• Serve as an integral link in establishing customer rapport, converting clients into customers for a lifetime.
• Participate in training to boost sales and ensure quick, accurate dispatch of incoming orders.
• Provide timely updates to customers throughout the day on the technician’s progress.
