Job summary

Performance Home Medical is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to join our Operations Team. This role involves routing daily deliveries, coordinating with Customer Service, and ensuring timely, accurate handling of equipment in a fast-paced environment.

The position supports a hybrid work schedule and offers a comprehensive benefits package. Experience with medical equipment is preferred, but training is provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Routing of daily deliveries to Delivery Technicians and redeploying drivers to manage same day and emergent orders.
• Coordinate deliveries, services and shipments with Customer Service Representatives to schedule and communicate delays or issues.
• Assist in equipment cleaning and processing of dirty equipment with proper labeling and storage in the warehouse.
• Make minor repairs to equipment to ensure safe operation and attend manufacturer training for new products.
• Route the service Delivery Technicians for in-home maintenance programs for PHM owned equipment.
• Maintain and organize accurate vehicle files and related documentation.
• Oversee and update concentrator check logs to ensure compliance and tracking.
• Reconcile all outstanding stops and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
• Troubleshoot product-related issues and provide timely support to ensure smooth operations.

We are seeking a motivated, high energy, individual to join our Operations Team as a Dispatch Coordinator. As a Dispatch Coordinator you must be responsible, reliable, detail orientated and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. You must also have good people skills to deal with patients and peers amongst several departments. A background in medical equipment preferred but we will train the right candidate. This position may offer a hybrid work schedule, combining both on-site and remote work to provide flexibility while supporting operational needs.

• Routing of daily deliveries to Delivery Technicians and re-deploys drivers throughout the day to effectively manage all same day and emergent orders received.
• Coordinates deliveries, services and shipments with Customer Service Representatives as needed to schedule, provide delivery expectations and assure effective communication of any delays, issues or required assistance needed to provide timely delivery per policy.
• Responsible to assist in equipment cleaning and processing of dirty equipment including proper labeling and storage in the warehouse. Documents per policy.
• Makes minor repairs to equipment as needed to assure safe operation of equipment and documents repairs per policy. Attends manufacturer training on any new product that is to be repaired on site.
• Routes the service Delivery Technicians in performing the in-home preventative maintenance program for PHM owned equipment that requires regularly scheduled Maintenance.
• Maintain and organize accurate vehicle files and related documentation.
• Oversee and update concentrator check logs to ensure compliance and proper tracking.
• Reconcile all outstanding stops, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Troubleshoot product-related issues and provide timely support to ensure smooth operations.
