Founded in 1999, Innovative Construction Solutions (ICS) is a California-based environmental construction company with 180+ employees across California and Washington. We specialize in environmental remediation, water/wastewater treatment systems, hazardous waste management, and federal contracting. As a Federal Small Business (NAICS 562910) with $175-million bonding capacity and Class A general engineering contractor status, IC S delivers projects that protect, remediate, and restore our environment while addressing critical infrastructure challenges.

The role of the Dispatch Coordinator is to schedule personnel, equipment and services as needed to support all IC S projects. The Dispatch Coordinator must be able to forecast the support needs to ensure projects will be adequately staffed.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement

• Schedule personnel and equipment for current projects
• Coordinate future personnel availability versus needs with the Operations Resource Manager and adjust project start dates/needs as possible
• Monitor schedule forecast and discuss any conflicts with the Operation Resource Manager
• Assist Project Managers with procurement and scheduling of equipment
• Assist Project Managers with scheduling of Personnel
• Communicate equipment problems to maintenance for repair
• Order, Stock, and Deliver material to Northern California projects as needed.

Reporting and forecasting

• Maintain and input data into a revenue forecast / personnel forecast.
• Monthly Equipment billing to on-going projects using VISTA by Viewpoint.
• Comfortable running equipment cost analysis for project purposes.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma
• Preferred to be bilingual in Spanish
• Active listener with excellent communication skills (oral and written) and ability to build positive rapport with field staff
• Sound judgement and critical thinker
• Proficient with computers and office equipment (copier, scanner, fax machine)
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of various software programs
• Proficient use of MS Office software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
• Two years’ dispatch/scheduling experience required, in the construction field

Travel

This role is based full-time at IC'S Concord office with sporadic travel to other IC regional offices (SoCal) to support system implementations.
