Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in transportation or dispatch, warehouse or driving experience, and strong Microsoft Office and communication skills to coordinate with teams and carriers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years transportation and third-party dispatch experience.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience or truck driving experience.
• 2 years dispatching experience

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Responsible for carrier sourcing and development.
• Regularly and accurately dispatches customer-controlled freight.
• Responsible for verifying carriers are approved and meet all internal/external requirements.
• Optimize routing to be cost effective
• Acts as liaison for solving driver and carrier issues.
• Responsible for maintaining carrier and customer base.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required.
