Job summary

Meyer Jabara Hotels, LLC is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Steward to support our kitchen operations. You will operate and maintain cleaning equipment, wash dishes and tableware, and help keep the back-of-house area clean and organized according to hotel guidelines.

Ideal candidates are reliable, communicate well, and can work under pressure in a fast-paced hotel environment, with a focus on hygiene, safety, and timely service to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• English required for daily duties and safety briefings.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Candidate should have a positive attitude, communicate effectively, work under pressure, and prioritize with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen clean, organized, and inspection-ready at all times.
• Maintain dry and clean floors; operate and sanitize dishwashing equipment.
• Adhere to sanitation guidelines and company standards.
• Assist cooks and servers as needed.
• Collect and dispose of trash following established procedures.
• Dispose of waste per hotel and authority guidelines and recycle appropriately.
• Keep waste areas tidy and report maintenance or hazards to the manager.
• Assist in light food prep and serving in dining areas when directed.
