Valor is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and dish room. The role includes unloading and organizing dishes, operating dishwashing equipment, and assisting kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to read instructions, and follow health compliance guidelines. Physical duties include lifting and standing for long periods in a bustling hotel kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must have high school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions and maintain sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with health compliance regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Gathers dirty dishes from tubs and racks, rinses and stacks for washing.
• Operates automatic dishwashing machine and monitors chemical dispensers.
• Unloads clean dishes and stacks them for staff use.
• Manually scrubs pots and pans not suitable for machine washing.
• Polishes silver and stainless steel to present clean equipment.
