Job summary

Paycom is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support kitchen operations in a hotel setting. You will clean dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and ensure all items are properly stored and sanitary.

The role requires standing for long periods, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities include operating dishwashing equipment, contributing to overall kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with food prep during peak periods or staffing shortages.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous stewarding experience required or equivalent training.
• Work schedule varies and may include holidays and weekends.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans.
• Operate dishwashing and other kitchen cleaning equipment.
• Store clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment.
• Maintain clean and orderly kitchen work areas and utensils.
• Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, or refrigerators.
• Sweep and wash floors and clean trashcans.
• Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas.
• Assist with food preparation during staffing shortages or peak periods.
• Support guest satisfaction goals by maintaining cleanliness.
• Follow safety protocols and MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
