Job summary

DIG INN Restaurant Teams is seeking a porter/dishwasher for our scratch-based kitchens in New York. Earn $17–$18 per hour depending on experience, plus $2–$3 per hour in tips and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Passion for real, good food and a desire to learn culinary practices.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• able to perform physical requirements (lifting up to 25–50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• WASH dishes, pots, etc using dishwashers or by hand.
• Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and prep areas.
• Stock cleaning supplies and dishes.
• Sort and remove trash to designated areas.
• Support team members and managers with daily cleaning tasks.
• Gain exposure to different kitchen stations (garde manger, grill, roast, market line, prep).
• Assist during peak and off-peak service as needed.
• Move and multi-task in kitchen; physical requirements apply.
