Job summary

DIG INN Restaurant Teams in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Porter/Dishwasher to support our scratch-based kitchen. You will wash dishes, keep stations clean, stock supplies, and help the team during peak service in a fast-paced, food-focused environment.

Starting pay is $16–$18 per hour plus $2–$3 per hour in tips and additional benefits. We value reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn across garde manger and prep roles as part of our mission to rebuild the food system.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, etc using dishwashers or by hand.
• Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and prep kitchen work stations.
• Stock cleaning supplies and dishes in their respective areas.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pick up areas.
• Support team members and managers with daily cleaning tasks.
• Gain exposure to different stations within the DIG kitchen including garde manger, grill, roast, market line, and prep.
• Work to support the team during peak and off peak service, by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time.
