DIG INN Restaurant Teams in New York is seeking a Chef-in-Training to join our scratch kitchen. Earn $17–$18 per hour plus $2–$3 per hour in tips and additional benefits. You will learn culinary skills, gain leadership experience, and grow with a passionate team.

Rotations across kitchen stations, and support during busy times, are part of the role as we strive to deliver high-quality meals and uphold DIG standards and mission.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains using recipes as a guide.
• Gain exposure to garde manger, grill, roast, market line and other stations.
• Explain menu items, seasonality, and ingredients to guests with enthusiasm.
• Support the team during peak and off-peak service as needed.
• Move and multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Follow DIG food safety standards and policies.
