DIG INN Restaurant Teams is hiring for a Porter (Dishwasher) in Boston. Compensation ranges from $16 to $18 per hour plus $2–$3 per hour in tips and additional benefits. The role offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced kitchen focused on real food and restaurant operations.

You will rotate through multiple kitchen stations, learn culinary practices, and contribute to maintaining food safety standards in a high-energy environment as part of a mission to rebuild the food system.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in dishwashing and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to learn multiple kitchen stations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, etc using dishwashers or by hand.
• Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and prep kitchen work stations.
• Stock cleaning supplies and dishes in their respective areas.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pick up areas.
• Support team members and managers with daily cleaning tasks.
• Gain exposure to different stations within the DIG kitchen including garde manger, grill, roast, market line, and prep.
• Work to support the team during peak and off peak service, by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time.
