This role ensures the kitchen and dishwashing areas are clean, safe, and organized, supporting overall kitchen operations and contributing to a positive dining experience. Must be willing to work as a part of a team to assure an enjoyable working environment, and quality guest experience.It is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual who is a team player and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.**Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities**:* Scrape, wash, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand.* Maintain a clean and orderly dishwashing area, ensuring all cleaned items are properly stored and accessible for kitchen and serving staff.* Keep floors and surfaces free of spills and debris by sweeping and mopping floors.* Regularly emptying trash and recycling.* Assist with general kitchen duties by assisting with basic food prep or receiving deliveries.* Monitor dishwashing machine for proper temperature and chemical levels, reporting any malfunctions or issues to a supervisor immediately.* Adhere to all health, safety, and food handling regulations to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.* Be a team player and help both back of house and front of house staff.**Specific Job Skills**:License/Certifications- Idaho Food Safety Certification (training provided)Technical- Basic kitchen and cooking skills preferredPhysical Capabilities- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
