Job summary

O’Charley’s Middletown is seeking a Dish Operator to help keep our kitchen running smoothly. You will set up and break down the dish machine, wash and store dishes, and work closely with Line Cooks to maintain a clean, efficient service area.

This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a busy environment; you must follow safety and cleanliness procedures and handle responsible daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dish machine operating procedures and silverware handling.
• Preventive maintenance measures and standard cleaning procedures.
• Ability to interact with guests and maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down the dish machine and maintain cleaning.
• Wash, store, presoak, and sanitize dishes and silverware.
• Check water temperature during dishwashing.
• Remove trash from dishroom and maintain cleanliness.
• Keep dishroom and storage areas neat; floors dry.
• Collaborate with Line Cooks to maintain a clean kitchen and efficient service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a Manager.
