Job summary

Independence Village of Waterford is hiring a Dishwasher to support our kitchen team. You will wash and unload dishes, pots, pans, silverware, and equipment, ensuring clean, sanitary work areas in a community setting.

Shifts include 11:00a-7:00p, 7a-3:30p, and 3p-7p with emphasis on teamwork, reliability, and good communication across staff and residents. Prior experience is welcome but not required, and state/local health codes must be followed.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be friendly, display a positive attitude, and have good teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items - comply with all applicable state and local health/safety codes.
• Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• May be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Consistently maintain a positive attitude, supporting a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
