Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living seeks a dedicated Dishwasher to support our senior living community. You will ensure dishes and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly, and assist with dish room and kitchen clean-up.

This role emphasizes teamwork and compassionate service to residents and families. Requirements include a High school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and experience in a kitchen or similar setting.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a kitchen or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with staff, residents and families.
• Must pass criminal background check and health screenings including TB tests.
• Vaccination and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area before service.
• Transport, wash, sanitize and store dishes and utensils.
• Assist with kitchen clean-up and sanitation tasks.
• Respond professionally to resident concerns and complaints.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
