DIG INN Restaurant Teams in Bridgewater, NJ is seeking a Porter (Dishwasher) to support our scratch-based kitchen and restaurant operations. You will learn multiple kitchen stations, uphold food safety standards, and contribute to a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, and assisting with daily tasks. Competitive pay plus tips and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• A passion for real, good food and learning culinary skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (frequ ent lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds).
• Good communication and teamwork to support the restaurant’s success.
• Willingness to learn different kitchen stations and roles.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, etc using dishwashers or by hand.
• Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and prep kitchen work stations.
• Stock cleaning supplies and dishes in their respective areas.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pick up areas.
• Support team members and managers with daily cleaning tasks.
• Gain exposure to different stations within the DIG kitchen including garde manger, grill, roast, market line, and prep.
• Work to support the team during peak and off peak service, by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time.
