Zuma - San Diego is seeking a ZumaSteward/Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen and dining areas. You will wash dishes, utensils, and equipment, and support general cleaning and organization.

Qualifications

• Experience washing dishes in a high-volume kitchen.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils using dishwashing machines or by hand, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer instructions and guidelines.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in kitchen and dining areas.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas according to established procedures and schedules.
• Assist with general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces in kitchen and dining areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and storage areas, ensuring supplies are properly stocked and organized.
