Zuma in New York seeks a ZumaSteward/Dishwasher to keep the kitchen and dining areas spotless and sanitary. You will wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and assist with general cleaning and organization tasks.

Qualifications

• Passion for culinary experiences and Japanese cuisine.
• Team player capable of syncing with a large team.
• Friendly, customer-oriented, and able to create memorable dining experiences.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils using dishwashing machines or by hand, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer instructions and guidelines.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in kitchen and dining areas.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas according to established procedures and schedules.
• Assist with general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces in kitchen and dining areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and storage areas, ensuring supplies are properly stocked and organized.
