The Inn at Little Washington in the United States seeks a dedicated Steward to maintain general sanitation across back-of-house areas and ensure Virginia health standards are met. You will manage dish machines, clean culinary areas, and support kitchen operations with diligence and speed.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year of stewarding experience, bilingual Spanish and English, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

SUMMARY

TheSteward is responsible for general sanitation and cleaning of all back of houseareas. The stewarding position upholds the Virginia Department of Healthcleanliness and sanitation standards. Maintenance of the dish machine and careof other sanitation tools are essential to this role. Maintaining thecleanliness of the dish machine area, basin sinks, and other culinary areas isrequired.

• Availability andunderstanding that the position often requires hours in excess of a standardworkweek (40-50 hours).
