The Inn at Little Washington is seeking a guest-focused server to join our award-winning team. You will assist guests with beverage selections, provide knowledgeable descriptions, and uphold safety and Forbes standards while delivering exceptional hospitality.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in Food & Beverage, strong English communication, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting at our renowned Virginia property.

QUALIFICATIONS

Passion for hospitality and a desire to grow within the company.

Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.

Minimum 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Minimum 1-2 years of prior experience working in the Food & Beverage area, in a fast-paced environment.

The ability to work under pressure and to a high standard.

The capability to meet the physical and scheduling demands of the position, including walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods, and working nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Knowledge of destination, activities, food & beverage, and spa.
• Knowledge of gourmet food and beverage background, knowledge of (high-end) industry publications, and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible schedule, to include weekend and evenings.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequent need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing.

Constant need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, turning, finger dexterity.

Frequent need to stand for long periods of time.

Lifting/carrying up to 30 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
