We are looking for a Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen staff and maintain cleanliness around our restaurant. Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines and stacking washed items appropriately, as well as assisting food preparation, and other auxiliary tasks. Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Pre-wash dishes, load and unload dishwasher
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and cast iron pans)
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and communicate when orders are necessary
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
• Remove garbage regularly
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor

Required Skills

• Work experience as a Dishwasher or on Wait Staff (preferred but not necessary)
• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed, including assisting with food prep
• Strong time management & organizational skills
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules
• Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings
• High School Diploma a plus
• Must be able to work on your feet for long hours
• Must be able to lift 50+ Pounds
• Strong communication skills + a team mentality

Pay Rate: $16-$19/hour based on Experience
