Job summary

Windsor Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher at Renaissance Asheville to maintain a clean kitchen and support the dining team. You will help keep plates, utensils, and surfaces spotless, enabling smooth kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reliability, teamwork, and physical endurance to stand and perform repetitive motions during shifts. This full-time position offers benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks to sanitize surfaces.
• Segregate, remove, and dispose of trash in designated containers.
• Steam clean or hose out garbage cans to maintain hygiene.
• Sort bottles and process disposable items using the bottle crusher.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
• Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash by hand or in dishwasher racks.
• Polish silverware using appropriate equipment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Sweep and mop kitchen floors throughout the shift to maintain cleanliness and safety.

• Segregate, remove, and properly dispose of trash and garbage in designated containers.
• Steam clean or hose out garbage cans to maintain hygiene.
• Sort bottles and process disposable items using the bottle crushing machine.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
• Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or load them into racks for the dishwashing machine.
• Polish silverware using burnishing-machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth.

SKILLS & ABILITIES YOU BRING

• Self-starting personality with a steady, even-keeled disposition; able to work productively with minimal direction.
• Professional appearance and manner maintained at all times in the kitchen environment.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift including lifting, bending, stooping, walking, pushing, and pulling heavy equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work at a consistent production pace throughout the shift.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual; committed to showing up and contributing every shift.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude; willing to support the kitchen team across tasks as needed.

SCHEDULE & HOURS

This position is full-time, with schedules that may vary based on business need. Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, may be required. Specific shift details will be discussed during the interview process.
