Job summary

High Hampton in Cashiers, NC is looking for a friendly, hardworking Dishwasher to support our world-class kitchens. This role is available as both full-time and part-time and involves washing dishware, utensils, cooking equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized station.

You’ll learn basic cooking prep alongside our chefs while gaining experience in a fast-paced resort kitchen. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and organize all cooking utensils, storage containers, and pots.
• Sweep and mop floors upon arrival.

• Maintain plate cabinets and pantry in an orderly fashion.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Scrub floors daily.

High Hampton is looking for individuals that enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced kitchen environment. This behind-the-scenes position is essential for our world-class kitchens to operate.
Dishwashers will be responsible for washing all dishware, utensils, cooking equipment, and any other tools used by the front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
Opportunities to learn cooking preparation methods while working alongside our talented team of chefs and cooks. This position has the potential for upward growth throughout our kitchen.
Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Pay Range: $17.00–$18.00 per hour. Starting compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for washing, drying, and organizing all cooking utensils, storage containers, and pots

Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
