Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas to be clean and in orderly condition.
• Maintain dishes, glassware, utensils and cooking equipment to be clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents, cleaning supplies and monitor all chemical solution concentration.
• Sort and remove the trash, placing it in designated pick up areas.
• Keep floors and floor mats clean.
• Receive and stock deliveries.
• Polishing glassware and silverware.
• Maintain the storage areas clean and organize walk-in cooler.
• Support kitchen operations at the direction of the Executive Chef and Line Cooks.

We are opening a new restaurant in Greenport August 2026 - Fortune Favors - and are looking for Dishwashers to join our team, with potential growth across our expanding hotel and restaurant portfolio.

ROLE

The Dishwasher is responsible for helping the culinary team to maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain kitchen work areas to be clean and in orderly condition.
• Maintain dishes, glassware, utensils and cooking equipment to be clean and organized in the correct areas.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents, cleaning supplies and monitor all chemical solution concentration.
