Job summary

True Food Kitchen in San Diego is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support our busy restaurant. You will operate the dish machine, maintain sanitation, and help manage kitchen cleanliness before, during, and after service.

Ideal candidates may have prior dishwashing or kitchen exposure, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and stay standing for extended periods. Part-time or full-time schedules are available with health care options and dining discounts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dish machine; ensure sanitation levels and report issues
• Wash, store, and rotate all tableware, cookware, glassware, and utensils
• Hand-wash pots, pans, and specialty items using a 3-compartment sink
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room, kitchen, restrooms, and prep areas
• Keep up with linen and trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and breaking down boxes
• Assist with receiving deliveries and restocking shelves
• Support the team with flexibility to ensure smooth restaurant operations
