Job summary

True Food Kitchen seeks a dedicated dishwasher to support our clean, high-standard kitchen environment. You will operate the dish machine, wash and rotate ware, and help keep the dish area and prep spaces organized.

Flexible AM/PM shifts and opportunities for part-time or full-time schedules (up to 40 hours weekly) are available, with benefits such as affordable health care offerings and dining discounts.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine and maintain sanitation levels.
• Wash, store, and rotate all tableware, cookware, glassware, and utensils.
• Hand-wash pots, pans, and specialty items using a 3-compartment sink.
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room, kitchen, restrooms, and prep areas.
• Keep up with linen and trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and breaking down boxes.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and restocking shelves.
• Support the team with flexibility to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

THE RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

• Operate and maintain the dish machine; ensure proper sanitation levels and report issues
• Wash, store, and rotate all tableware, cookware, glassware, and utensils
• Hand-wash pots, pans, and specialty items using a 3-compartment sink
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room, kitchen, restrooms, and prep areas
• Keep up with linen and trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and breaking down boxes
• Assist with receiving deliveries and restocking shelves
• Support the team with flexibility to ensure smooth restaurant operations

THE PERFECT PAIRING

• Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience is a plus (but not required)
• Ability to thrive in afast-paced, high-volume environment
• Comfort standing for extended periods
