Job Summary

As a member of our Nutrition Services team, you'll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all equipment used in the preparation, serving, storage, and transportation of food. You'll also clean floors, walls, windows, hoods, carts, and other general departmental equipment, ensuring our facilities are clean and safe for patients, visitors, and staff.

Essential Functions

• Disassemble trays, sort refuse for recycling and composting, operate dish machine according to standards, monitor safety and sanitation indicators, report irregularities.
• Wash and sanitize larger items, maintain safety standards, clean floors and walls, operate industrial cleaning equipment.
• Perform heavy-duty cleaning of surfaces and equipment using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables as directed.
• Interact respectfully with others.

Qualifications

Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
