Job summary

Taher, Inc. in Rochester, MN is seeking a dedicated utility worker for daytime hours with guaranteed shifts, no night or weekend requirements, and daily lunch provided. This role supports our kitchen operations through dishwashing, cleaning, and basic food-service tasks.

You will follow safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and contribute to a positive team environment while meeting standard hygiene practices and punctual expectations.

Qualifications

• Follow oral and written directions reliably.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Punctual, dependable and able to work independently.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Successful completion of a background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and store dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required.
• Sweep and mop floors, by hand or with equipment.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers, and trash receptacles.
• Transport trash to designated areas and follow disposal procedures.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and assist teammates as needed.
• Be punctual and uphold safety practices.

Utility worker, day hours. No nights! No weekends!

Essential Functions:

• * Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• * Sweep and mop floors, by hand or with machine as needed
• * Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• * Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• * Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment
• * Assists other team members as needed
• * Be on time
• * Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• * Maitain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• * Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
