Qualifications

• Registered technical professional with 10+ years of practical experience in one of the technical disciplines.
• 5 years of experience in a consulting engineering firm.
• Active and up to date in NCEES council record, if applicable.
• Experience managing projects of small to mid-scale scope and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Lead a discipline sub-group, aligning staffing and schedules.
• Guide, direct, and mentor sub‑group members with a culture of growth and accountability.
• Manage performance, set expectations, and address gaps proactively.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure staffing and skill mix; support recruiting and onboarding.
• Ensure design services meet professional standards and QA/QC execution.
• Develop and execute employee development plans; mentor pairings and training.
• Establish relationships with clients and manufacturers; perform engineer/PM responsibilities as needed.
• Review timesheets and expense reports; support budgeting and data-driven leadership input.
