Job summary

Endeavors is seeking a Training Coordinator to lead staff development across the Disaster Case Management program. You will design, deliver, and evaluate training aligned with FEMA standards and organizational procedures, ensuring onboarding programs are delivered on Day 1 and maintained for accuracy.

You will coordinate training materials, track outcomes, and deliver trainings via in-person and virtual formats, while mentoring supervisors and ensuring compliance with audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Services, Education, Training & Development, or related field.
• 3+ years of instructional design, training coordination, or staff development experience.
• Experience in Disaster Case Management or FEMA-related programs preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with clear record.
• Up to 10% travel within a multi-county region.
• Criminal background checks required; available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs for new hires and existing staff across all DCM areas.
• Identify internal and external training opportunities to close competency gaps.
• Develop annual and individualized training plans for staff at all levels.
• Collaborate with managers on instructional design and curriculum development.
• Coordinate and maintain all training materials to ensure accuracy and currency.
• Ensure onboarding and training materials are available Day 1.
• Facilitate training through classroom, virtual, and on-the-job coaching.
• Implement assessments to measure training effectiveness and staff competency.
• Track outcomes like satisfaction and knowledge retention.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to supervisors on training implementation.
