ServiceMaster is hiring for a Disaster Restoration Sales role in the Chesapeake, VA area. The incumbent manages relationships with current customers and referral sources, prospects for additional revenue, and helps grow territory with insurance agents and other key relationships.

The position requires 1–2 years in disaster restoration, strong communication skills, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel locally. Base salary ranges with bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 1–2 years in disaster restoration; IICRC certifications preferred.
• 6–12 months sales experience or training highly desired.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact with customers pre/post service to ensure satisfaction and uncover prospects.
• Develop new sales leads in assigned verticals and manage relationships with insurance agents.
• Create and maintain key referral relationships; document weekly/monthly reports.
• Present information clearly to customers individually and in small groups.
• Travel locally/regionally for trade shows, training and events; network after hours as needed.
• Support collections efforts with non-residential customers when required.
