Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Downers Grove, IL is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial losses from fire, water, mold, and natural disasters. You will develop relationships to grow accounts and manage projects from start to finish with support from a Construction Superintendent.

Experience in restoration and Xactimate is preferred, with travel and licensing requirements. The role offers a competitive base salary ($70,000–$85,000) with eligible annual bonuses and

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration and construction.
• Experience with Xactimate.
• Disaster mitigation estimating experience.
• Ability to pay attention to details.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel out of town.
• Pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement the Company’s Project Quality Planning and Control process.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with clients and contacts to facilitate successful project execution.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy.
• Monitor/control construction through on-site Superintendent to ensure schedule and budget.
• Evaluate construction progress and team performance to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts reporting.
• Identify potential legal problems and review with the Branch Manager.
• Oversee completion of project close-out.
• Represent the company in project meetings.
• Provide technical assistance and support to all members of the project team.
• Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales and Marketing of potential projects with current clients.
• Actively leads internal teams focused on continuous improvement of the business.
• Promote growth of client, subcontractor and vendor relationships.
• Familiar with company policies and processes as they relate to this position.
• Proactively identify and solve problems to minimize risk.
