Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Springfield, IL is seeking a Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial losses from fire, water, mold and natural disasters. You will develop relationships to grow accounts, manage projects from start to finish, and coordinate with the Construction Superintendent and contractors.

The position offers a base salary of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, eligible for an annual bonus, and a package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2–3 years prior disaster restoration experience (residential and commercial).
• Must have restoration estimating experience and be able to write scopes in Xactimate.
• Attention to details.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Travel out of town preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide repair and restoration estimates for project leads.
• Lead communication between customer and insurance providers.
• Monitor/con­trol construction with on-site Superintendent to keep on schedule and within budget.
• Evaluate construction progress and team performance.
• Manage financial aspects of repair/restoration projects.
• Identify potential legal issues and review with Branch Manager.
• Oversee project close-out and represent the company in meetings.
• Provide technical assistance to project team.
• Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales/ Marketing.
• Lead internal teams focused on process improvements.
• Develop client, subcontractor and vendor relationships.
• Familiarize with company policies and processes.
• Proactively solve problems to minimize risk.
