Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Rockford, IL is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to oversee residential & commercial losses caused by fire, water, mold and natural disasters. This role develops client relationships to build and grow accounts and manages projects from start to finish with support from a Construction Superintendent.

The position blends sales and project management within disaster restoration, ideally for commercial accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration and construction is required.
• Experience with Xactimate is required.
• Ability to pay attention to details.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support and implement the Project Quality Planning and Control process.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with clients to facilitate project execution.
• Establish project objectives, policies and performance standards.
• Monitor/con­trol construction through the on-site Superintendent to meet schedule and budget.
• Evaluate construction progress and team performance.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts reporting.
• Identify potential legal problems and review with Branch Manager.
• Oversee project close-out.
• Represent the company in project meetings.
• Provide technical assistance to project team.
• Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales/Marketing.
• Lead internal teams focused on continuous improvement.
• Promote growth of client, subcontractor, and vendor relationships.
• Familiar with policies and processes related to this position.
• Proactively identify and solve problems to minimize risk.
