Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Rockford, IL is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial losses from fire, water, mold, and natural disasters. You will build relationships, manage projects from start to finish with supervision, and coordinate with a Construction Superintendent and contractors.

The role focuses on sales and project management for disaster restoration, with opportunities for advancement and a strongbonus potential.

Qualifications

Experience in restoration and construction.
Experience with Xactimate.
Prior disaster mitigation estimating experience.
Excellent communication and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Support and implement the Company’s Project Quality Planning and Control process.
Initiate and maintain liaison with clients to facilitate successful project execution.
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards.
Monitor/control construction through on-site supervision to keep schedule and budget.
Evaluate progress and team performance to ensure timely delivery within budget.
Manage financial aspects of contracts reporting.
Identify potential legal issues and review with Branch Manager.
Oversee project close-out and representation in meetings.
Provide technical assistance to project team.
Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales/Marketing.
