BMS CAT in Elk River, MN seeks a Project Director to lead estimating and sales for fire, water, flood, mold, and other property losses across residential and commercial properties. You will partner with insurers, adjusters, and property managers to ensure accurate scopes and profitable execution.

This role blends technical estimating with relationship-driven sales, building a referral pipeline through industry networks, follow-up, and market presence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on estimating experience with commercial losses.
• Xactimate proficiency required.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations after hours as necessary.
• Proven ability to build B2B relationships and generate repeat referral business.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer emergency losses with urgency and ownership to secure opportunity.
• Prepare accurate, competitive estimates from site inspections using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with operations to support smooth handoffs, scope alignment, and proper documentation.
• Provide customers with daily project updates and ensure timely payment.
• Build and maintain long-term referral relationships with adjusters, brokers, consultants, and property managers.
• Communicate clearly, respond quickly, and solve problems proactively.
• Drive new business through networking and prospecting.
• Attend industry events to create visibility and opportunities.
• Support marketing presentations and capability meetings.
• Focus on revenue growth, customer experience, and profit performance.
