Job summary

Jenkins Restorations is seeking a Mitigation Technician in Charlotte, NC to respond to disaster sites and restore properties with care and a servant’s heart. The role reports to the General Manager and emphasizes excellent service to homeowners and insurance contacts.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, IICRC WRT or related experience, strong English communication, and readiness for on-call shifts. Candidates should be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work in variable conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience: IICRC WRT or 1–2 years related experience or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Mitigation Technician cleans and dries out internal areas of damaged property.
• Identifies items wet with specialized equipment.
• Removes drywall, pulls up flooring, clears debris.
• Pumps water out with extraction equipment.
• Dries out materials with drying equipment.
• Provides excellent customer service to property owner.
• Communicates job updates with clients, insurers and Project Manager.
• Responds 24x7 as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
