Job summary

BMS CAT in Englewood, CO seeks a Project Coordinator to estimate fire, water, flood, and mold losses for residential and commercial properties. You’ll collaborate with insurers, adjusters, TPAs, and property managers to ensure accurate scopes and competitive pricing, while also developing referral relationships for new revenue.

Qualifications

• 1 year of hands-on estimating experience (residential and commercial losses).
• Respond to emergency situations on nights/weekends/holidays as necessary.
• Xactimate experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with mitigation processes, documentation, and insurance expectations.
• Proven ability to build B2B relationships and generate repeat referral business.
• Comfort supporting marketing efforts (presentations, networking, customer meetings).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Strong communication skills with homeowners, commercial clients, and insurance professionals.
• Team oriented, accountable, and results driven work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer emergency losses with urgency and ownership to secure opportunities.
• Prepare accurate, competitive estimates for residential and commercial projects.
• Conduct site inspections and translate observations into scopes of work.
• Collaborate with production and project management for smooth handoffs and scope alignment.
• Identify scope gaps and pursue approvals through proper documentation and adjuster communication.
• Manage multiple residential and commercial projects simultaneously.
• Manage open bid pipeline and follow up on submitted estimates.
• Proactively stay top-of-mind with referral partners between projects.
• Convert one-time opportunities into long-term referral partnerships.
