ServiceMaster DSI in Rockford, IL is seeking a self-starting Business Development Manager to drive sales and growth within the assigned territory.

The role focuses on acquiring new accounts, expanding existing relationships, and delivering solutions that meet client needs. Expect on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement, with compensation starting at $60k–$70k plus bonus and commission.

Qualifications

• Business-to-business sales experience, including working with agents, insurance adjusters, property managers and commercial properties.
• Previous CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell services to existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
• Demonstrates products and services to customers and helps select best options.
• Develop and maintain business relationships to generate new business in the territory/market segment.
• Make telephone calls and in-person visits to customers.
• Research sources for prospective customers and market potential.
• Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, and production teams.
• Analyze territory potential and value of customers to the organization.
• Plan and organize personal sales strategy to maximize ROI for the territory/segment.
• Maximize ROI on associations, trade shows and conventions.
