Job summary

ServiceMaster CDR in Akron, OH is seeking an Emergency Response Technician to join our rapid-response team. You will be first on site after fires, floods, and other disasters, performing emergency board-up and tarp-over services.

You will communicate with homeowners and business owners in crisis, assist in cleanup and debris removal, and work with tools and ladders. This role requires willingness to drive up to 75 miles a day and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of construction/restoration experience (water, fire, or mold).
• Basic hand tool knowledge required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Be first on site after fires, floods, and other emergencies.
• Perform emergency board-up and tarp-over services.
• Communicate with home and business owners in crisis.
• Assist in property cleanup, debris removal, and content pack-outs.
• Work with tools, ladders, and smart devices.
• Drive to multiple job sites - up to 75 miles/day.
• Be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation.
