Job summary

ServiceMaster CDR is seeking an experienced Lead Fire & Contents Restoration Technician to join our elite team in Akron, OH. You will perform fire and smoke damage restoration, manage contents cleaning, and interact with homeowners, managers, and adjusters to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires physical work, safety compliance, and the use of restoration software. A strong work ethic and willingness to pursue certifications are valued as you help communities recover and rebuild.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in fire or smoke damage restoration (residential or commercial).
• Solid customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Willingness to obtain IICRC FSRT & OCT certifications (plus).

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of fire and smoke damage restoration including demolition and contents cleaning.
• Pack, move, clean, and restore fire-damaged belongings and contents.
• Operate restoration tools and equipment with proper care.
• Document job progress, inventory, and interactions using restoration software.
• Collaborate with homeowners, managers, adjusters, and project leads to ensure quality service.
