Job summary

ServiceMaster CDR is seeking an Emergency Response Technician to join our national disaster restoration team. You will be on-site quickly after emergencies and perform board-ups, debris removal, and content pack-outs while communicating sensitively with affected owners.

The role requires basic hand tools, 1+ year restoration experience, and a high school diploma or GED. We offer competitive pay, full benefits, and strong career growth opportunities within a 24/7 on-call rotation.

• 1+ year of construction/restoration experience (water, fire, or mold).
• Basic hand tool knowledge is required.
• Carpentry or framing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency board-up and tarp-over services.
• Communicate with home and business owners in crisis.
• Assist in property cleanup, debris removal, and content pack-outs.
• Work with tools, ladders, and smart devices.
• Drive to multiple job sites — up to 75 miles/day.
• Be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation.
