Job summary

ServiceMaster Restoration by Century in Northwood, Ohio is seeking an Emergency Response Technician for a full-time role. You will be the first responder to emergencies, assisting with restoration after fires and floods.

The ideal candidate has construction or restoration experience, a high school diploma, and is ready to work in a dynamic environment. The position offers competitive pay, full benefits, and the chance to help communities rebuild.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of construction/restoration experience (water, fire, or mold), carpentry or framing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be first on site after fires, floods, and other emergencies.
• Perform emergency board-up and tarp-over services.
• Communicate with home and business owners in crisis.
• Assist in property cleanup, debris removal, and content pack-outs.
• Work with tools, ladders, and smart devices.
• Drive to multiple job sites — up to 75 miles/day.
• Be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation.
