Job summary

Ceres Environmental Operations is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead debris removal and emergency response projects across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

You will oversee field crews, subcontractors, schedules, and safety compliance while aligning operations with contract requirements and FEMA guidelines. This role requires 10+ years in disaster recovery or construction, 5+ years of people management, travel with short notice, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience as a Superintendent or comparable field leadership role in disaster recovery or construction.
• 5+ years of people management coordinating crews and subcontractors across multiple project phases.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, contract docs, specs, and drawings.
• Travel extensively with short notice for disaster-impacted locations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate on-site work, scheduling, and subcontractor activities.
• Verify debris eligibility and ensure compliance with FEMA guidelines.
• Prepare daily production reports and manage costs to protect profitability.
• Communicate with project leadership, inspectors, suppliers, and labor reps.
• Maintain safety-first culture and adherence to SOPs.
