Job summary

Ceres Environmental Operations in Sarasota, FL is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support large-scale disaster recovery and debris removal projects. You will coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and equipment, maintaining schedules and safety on active sites.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering and 2+ years in field or operational roles, with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical).
• 2+ years of relevant field, project, or operational experience supporting construction or large-scale operations.
• Travel flexibility and strong verbal and written communication skills; MS Office proficiency (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Superintendent with daily field coordination of crews, subcontractors, equipment, staging areas, disposal sites, and work zones.
• Maintains schedules and site mapping based on Project Superintendent direction.
• Confers with supervision to resolve issues, prepares daily progress reports, and supports safety compliance.
